Georgia's state parks and historic sites receive the bulk of their funding from the state budget. The elected officials of our state and local communities need to know how important the parks are to you. Whether you write a short letter to the editor or send a personal note to the Governor, you can make a difference!
Our elected officials want to hear what you think. Each year as they determine the budget for the state, they must balance available funding with the needs and concerns of Georgia's citizens. In order to be effective, they must know what you think. Take just a moment to let them know that you support state parks and historic sites.
